Bio
Louise Zmolek Holubar, 92, passed away quietly on February 19, 2015, at Ennis Care Center after a stroke. Visitation will be held at 8:30 a.m. with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. with Father Henry Drozd as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Louise Lucille was born in Groveton, Texas. True to her Czech heritage, Louise enjoyed listening to the Czech Program on the radio every Sunday and attended many a dance in her younger years. She met Alvin Ray Holubar while both attended Ennis High School. They married in Dallas on November 23, 1942, and made their home there for many years before finally moving to Kaufman, Texas, in 1981. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin R. Holubar in 1995; and many siblings within the Zmolik/Zmolek family. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Gaither and her husband, Sonny, of DeSoto; son, James Holubar, of Buffalo; grandsons: Kenneth Holubar and wife, Angie, of Forney, Kevin Holubar and wife, Michelle, of Arlington, and Jason Clifford and his wife, Brittany, of Allen; four great-granddaughters; a great-grandson; brothers, Bob Zmolek, of Alma, and Jerry Zmolek, of Ferris; other relatives and many friends.
