Bio

Edith was a homemaker her entire life. She married Clarence Fredrick Benns on 6-25-1912 in Sonoma County in California. The couple lived in penngrove when first married. They had two children: Everett (1916) and Eloise (1919). In 1920 the family was living in Hayward,renting a home. In 1927 the family moved to Alameda as Clarence was working in Oakland.A short time later they moved back to Hayward where the purchased a home at 2935 Fairview ave (now "D" street). They remained in their home until they passed on. Added: Edith's family moved from Illinois to California around 1900. She attended High school in Orangevale, Ca. The family later moved to Penngrove.
