Bio

Services for Agnes Lorraine Williams, 92, of Osceola, who died Saturday, October 15, 1988 at Clarke County Hospital, were held Wednesday, October 19 at the First Christian Church in Osceola. Officiating at the service were the Rev. Clifford Haider and the Rev. Merrill Proudfoot. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery. Miss Williams was born September 19, 1896 in Clarke County, the daughter of Albert Forest Williams and Lillie Ann Deitrick. She attended Clarke County schools. She worked for the Green Colonial Furnace Company in Des Moines for 20 to 25 years as office manager. She also worked for Butterfield Insurance Agency for seven years after she moved to Osceola in 1955. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Osceola. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, George Williams and two sisters, Iva Henderson and Florence Proudfoot. The Osceola Sentinel Tribune - October 20, 1988
