Norbert Bennie Schlegel Born: March 28, 1934 Died: February 17, 2015 Services will be Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 2:00 at Calvary Christian Fellowship, Shamrock with Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, officiating. INTERMENT- Schlegel Family Cemetery, Shamrock, TX ARRANGEMENTS are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Norbert Schlegel was born March 28, 1934 in Coleman, TX to Bennie and Eunice Cobb Schlegel. Norbert had lived here all of his life and had managed Schlegel RV Park since 1967. He was also a published author, an agent for North Western Mutual Life Ins. Since 1985, worked on Schlegel farms and dedicated his life to his kids and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jaye Nell; a daughter, Rhonda; and a brother, D. C. Schlegel. SUVIVORS: 1 Son – Rick Schlegel & Cindy – Woodward, OK 2 Daughters – Teresa Caldwell & Mark – Shamrock Kim Christner – Amarillo 1 Brother – Raymond Schlegel – Shamrock 9 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren REMARKS - MEMORIALS – Alzheimers Association (Published by Robertson Funeral Directors, February 18, 2015) ----- SHAMROCK — Norbert Bennie Schlegel, 80, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, in Wellington. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Calvary Christian Fellowship in Shamrock with the Rev. Joe G. Jernigan officiating. Burial will be in Schlegel Family Cemetery in Shamrock. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Mr. Schlegel was born March 28, 1934, in Coleman to Bennie and Eunice Cobb Schlegel. He managed Schlegel RV Park since 1967, was a published author, an agent for North Western Mutual Life Insurance and worked on Schlegel Farms since 1985. Survivors include a son, Rick Schlegel of Woodward, Okla.; two daughters, Teresa Caldwell of Shamrock and Kim Christner of Amarillo; a brother, Raymond Schlegel of Shamrock; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
