Ello W. Orsak, 91, went to be with his Lord on Monday, February 16, 2015. He was born on August 11, 1923 in Louise, Texas to the late Joseph L. & Aloisa Orsak. He was self-employed welder, avid outdoorsman, and proudly served his country in the European, Asiatic, and Pacific Theaters as an Army Engineer during WWII from March 1943 to December 1945. He was an eternal optimist, a friend to all, and an exemplary member of the world's greatest generation. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0166 and Trinity Lutheran Church. Ello is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ellen E. Orsak of Victoria; stepdaughters Janice (Glen) Ullman and Beverly (Craig) Lester of Victoria; six step-grandchildren; niece Betty Jo (Charlie) Hickl; nephews John E. (Ruth) Orsak, Billy Ray (Donna) Orsak, Michael (Susan) Orsak and Robert Orsak. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers John J. Orsak and Joe P. Orsak, an infant sister, first wife of three years Emilia Berger Orsak; and stepson Wesley Dean Mikes. Pallbearers will be step-grandchildren, Douglas Ullman, Joseph Ullman, Brian Walters, Chris Lester, Robert Mikes, and nephews Billy Ray Orsak and Michael Orsak. Funeral services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Barney Matocha officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
