Bio
Emily R. "Emma" Colbert was 1/2 Chickasaw by Blood, Roll 1735, Card 577. Her parents were Leonidus Colbert and Easter Willhouse. She married Daniel H. Fitch on 16 March 1882 in the Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, and had 4 daughters by him: Mary Ellen, Joe, Maude, and Eliza Easter. Emma divorced Daniel on 27 November 1891. Details may be found in the Chickasaw Enrollment Application for D.H. Fitch, Intermarried White, Roll 502, Card 1767, in which Emma's maiden name is also confirmed as Emily R. Colbert. Emma then married James McGlasson in 1892 in the Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, and had 3 children by him: Jesse, Lula Pearl, and Jerry. Contributor: (46964776) •
