Zachariah Parks was b. 12/1839 and died 17 Jul 1908 Submitted by beaver450 ---------------------- Zachariah Parks, an old and highly respected resident of Owl's Cove, died at his home near Rumly last Friday, after an illness of several months. The remains were interred in the cemetery at Dennard, Saturday, with Masonic honors. Marshall Mountain Wave, Friday, July 24, 1908. Note his given name is Zachariah, even though it is misspelled on the tombstone. His parents were David E. Parks and Amelia Emily (Campbell) Parks Bradshaw. Her burial location is unknown. His grandparents were: Theophilus Parks (1781-1853) and Mary Polly (Lyons) Parks (1787-1845) and James Campbell (1786-1850) and Lucy (Howard) Campbell (1788-1845).
