Bio
Walter Day, age 72, entered into eternal rest on February 13, 2015. He was born on October 21, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Scooter was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved hunting and fishing at the beach. He will always be remembered for his strength, courage, and love. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nina Day; and parents George and Wilhelmina Day. Scooter is survived by his sons, Bobby Day (Suzanne), Andy Day (Nicole); grandchildren, Jack Day, Jennifer Day, Taylor Kendrik, Michael Day, Zachary Day, Liam Day; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with a Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ramiro De Los Santos, Isaac De Los Santos, Bobby Chandler, Paul Crisp, Ron LeBlanc, and Neal Mays, Jr.
