Bobby Joe Wells December 22, 1931 - February 14, 2015 Service for Bobby Joe Wells, 83, of Joshua will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Bobby Joe Wells passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 in Ft. Worth. He was born December 22, 1931 in Maypearl to W.B. (Bud) and Lila Paulette Favor Wells. He married Jerry Lynn Sartor on November 28, 1975 in Burleson. Mr. Wells served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a truck driver with Yellow Freight for more than 20 years and a member of the Teamsters Union. He loved baseball and the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed playing dominoes. Bobby will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jerry Wells; children, Donald Gene Wells, Robert Dennis Wells Sr., Judy Karen Thomas and husband Jimmie, William Frank Wells and wife Michelle, Tammy Singleton and husband Milton, Rhonda McKay and husband Marty, Kimberly Taylor and Jeff Polson and wife April; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; siblings, Walter Frank Wells and Elanor Ruth Eastep; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his parents; sisters, Betty Jean Thomas and Mary Francis Johnston; and brothers, Johnny Wells and Buddy Wells.
