Bio

Mrs. Lena Harmon, 74, of 1019 North Glenwood, Peoria, passed away at 10:45 p.m. Monday at the Methodist Hospital in Peoria. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Paris Avenue Church of Christ in Peoria with Rev. James Fox officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Bloom Cemetery at Tiskilwa. The remains are at the Welton Mortuary at 2101 N. Knoxville Ave., Peoria where visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. today. The deceased, who lived in and near Olney a number of years ago, was born December 11, 1897 at Arcola, daughter of Peter and Mae Lenier Grubb. She was married to Guv M. Harmon at Greenup on July 25,1917. She is survived by her husband, Guy M. Harmon; her mother, Mrs. Mae Grubb of Rankin, a sister, Mrs. Bert (Oma) Hasler of Rankin and several nephews and nieces.
