She was born in Natchez, Miss., and lived most of her life in New Roads and Baton Rouge. Visiting at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 1 p.m. Tuesday until religious services at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Michael Moroney. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Preceded in death by parents, Estelle Morgan, Pointe Coupee Parish, and Charles Kirkendall Jordan, Natchez; and husband, Raymond G. Post. Survived by a daughter, Antoinette Post, Houston, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond G. Post Jr., Baton Rouge; a grandson, Raymond G. Post III, Baton Rouge; a granddaughter, Wendy Bryan Post, Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs. William A. (Camille) Romans, Mrs. Maunsell W. (Estelle) Brousseau Jr. and Mrs. Thomas (Virginia) Robert, all of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Charles Morgan Jordan, Houston, and Janis R. Jordan, Baton Rouge; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a member of Baton Rouge Chapter of D.A.R., member and past presidentof Woman's Club Inc., past senior president of Pierre Joseph de Favrot Society Children of the American Revolution, served as organizational secretary and treasurer of State Society of the Children of the American Revolution, past president of Catholic High Mothers Club and charter member of Our Lady of the Lake Auxiliary, having served as "Candy Stripers" president, organizer and chairman. She was a member of The Literary Club and served as first treasurer of Baton Rouge Symphony Auxiliary. Family requests memorial donations to St. Joseph's Academy Foundation or Catholic High School Foundation. Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., in charge of arrangements.
