Bio

Mary Marinda Peters, daughter of David Turvey and Mary Green Stevenson, was born November 30, 1861 in Fayette County, Illinois and died at the age of 87 years, 8 months, and 4 days, on August 4, 1949 in Gravity, Taylor County, Iowa of a cerebral hemorrhage with paralysis on the right side of the body, J. Hardin, M. D. Bedford, Iowa. Informant was Mary R. Marshall. Burial in Lincoln Center Cemetery on August 6, 1949. Floyd E. Shut, funeral director. She married David Tucker Embree on March 2, 1881 in Adams County, Iowa. He died November 24, 1901. They had two children, Mary and Raymond. She later married at Mr. Peters.
