Bonnie (Rion) Stone (September 15, 1918 - February 2, 2015) Kinder Funeral service for Bonnie (Rion) Stone, 96, will be held in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 1 p.m. Rev. Ricky Fontenot will officiate. Burial will follow in LeBlanc Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 3-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service. Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Kinder. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Glen, for 59 years prior to his death. She was also a loving mother and grandmother. Bonnie was a friend to everyone. She loved to cross stitch and drink coffee with her friends. She also loved spending time with her family and she worked hard to make her house a “home”. Bonnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish Bonnie’s memory include her daughter, Patsy Croak and husband, Raymond, of Kinder; three grandchildren, Dwight Croak of Kinder, Natalie Lawrence and David Stone, both of Keithville; and 6 great grandchildren. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lessie Rion; her husband, Glen Stone; and her son, Sammie Stone.
