Bio

Ross was the son of Charles Albert and Etta Simpson Mantooth. He was married to Lucylle Murphy on Nov. 8, 1936 in McKinney. He lived in Princeton. He was a dairyman, retired from banking at First Bank in Farmersville and a deacon at First Baptist Church, Farmersville. He was a poet, a woodworker, and he wrote Ross's Ramblings for the Farmersville Times newspaper for many years.
