Broken Bow, NE – Dorothy Hammond, age 74 of Broken Bow died Thursday January 29, 2015 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held on Sunday February 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow. Burial will be in the Merna Cemetery. Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements. Dorothy was born on June 20, 1940 at Lexington, NE to Glenn and Pauline (Sutlief) Gulden. She was married to Lloyd Hammond on July 21, 1967. Dorothy is survived by her two daughters; Debbie (Larry) Jacobs of Englewood, CO, and Kristie (Van) Castleman of Medford, OR, two grandchildren, and a brother Dale Eugene (Mert) Gulden of Holdrege. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lloyd in April of 2014.
