Son of Oscar & Lena (Schupbach) Blaser. Married to: 1. Leona Mimick on 10-30-1946. 2. Catherine (McCormick) Nipp on 6-20-1987. He was a member of the Co-op Board, Platte County Agricultural Society from 1991-97, Platte County Historical Society, the Eagles Club, and St. Isidore Catholic Church. He also served on the Fire Department for 33 years, Lakeview School Board from 1974-1980, and the District 3 School Board.
