Richard Keller Healy, 82, passed away on January 24, 2015 in Salt Lake City. Born February 27, 1932 in Mount Carmel, son of Thomas Henry and Elizabeth Keller Healy. Married Lera Velva Casto on May 1, 1959 in Salt Lake City; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on December 29, 1972. He served for twenty years in the U.S. Navy and after retiring drove long haul. Survived by his children, Darryl A. (Dianne) Healy, Valera Kay (Michael) McGrath, and Rick A. (Tamera) Healy; fifteen grandchildren; and brother, Norman Healy. Preceded in death by siblings, Melvin Healy, Clara Healy, Jenice Fitzgerald, and Sylvia Pollard. The family expresses appreciation to the staff at the University of Utah Hospital for their care. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edison Ward Chapel, 1401 West 700 South, where viewings will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Thursday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
