Bio
Charles David Fowler Sr., was born on March 19, 1939 in La Grange, Arkansas. He went to his heavenly home on Thursday, January 29, 2015. Many friends and family knew him as “Sonny”. He is survived by one daughter, Betty Fowler (Rickey); one son, Charles Fowler Jr. (Casandra “Sandy”); one brother, Billy Fowler; and one sister, Marynell Dilks. He also leaves behind six grandchildren; James David Fowler, Ashley Fowler Patton, Brittany Fowler Meurseth, Allyson Tinsley, Glen Tinsley III, and Shiannie Tinsley; and ten great – grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Fowler and his parents, Rufus and Myrtle Fowler. He was a wonderful and loving Father. Sonny was a great friend and human being. Sonny was also a skilled and dedicated fisherman. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and being a part of his life. Service for Mr. Fowler will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. at Roller – Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held prior to service from 10:00 – 12:00. Burial will follow at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas.
