Bio

Judy H. Turk, 68, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015, in Ennis. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015, at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2015, at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy with Brother Grady Cashion officiating. Interment will follow in Hughes Cemetery in Avalon. Judy Kay was born in Waxahachie, Texas, to the late William Athey "Blue" and Maggie Lou (Warren) Hyles. Judy graduated from Italy High School in 1966. She worked at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro for over 20 years, where she was the activity director. Her work was her calling and she loved to help take care of people. She was like a mother to everyone she took care of. Judy was preceded in death by a son, James Robert Glenn. Survivors include her sons: James Robert Glenn, Jr., Kayleigh Phillips, and Logan Jones; great-granddaughter, Shane Kate Glenn; twin sister, Wanda Faye Asbury and husband, Gordon; brother, Randy Hyles and wife, Tammy; and numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
