Eddie Kelley Terry, 66, of McKinney, Texas, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, surrounded by his family. Eddie was born in McKinney on May 12, 1948 to his parents, Alonzo and Mattie Terry. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children Ronald (Judy) Spencer, Julie Terry and Suzie (Ricky) Bell; grandchildren Jimmy Koonce, Tiffany Haynes, Rachel Haynes, Randall Haynes, Ashley Bell and Brittney Bell as well as numerous great grandchildren. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ray, Roy, J.E., Betty and Carol. Eddie was a lover of history. He especially enjoyed the history of McKinney, which was his lifelong home. He was an auto trader and a dog lover. The family will receive friends at a visitation to take place on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee Street McKinney, Texas 75069. The funeral service will be on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery.
