Son of Mr. Guy Roberts and Miss Sammie Campbell He was born in Texas and resided in Rural Palo Pinto County at the time of his death. He worked as a Mechanic in the Automobile Repair Business. Biggers Funeral Home was in charge of the Funeral Arrangements. Married Cora Marie Schroeder who died Mar 11, 2003 Bobby Guy Roberts married Cora Marie Schroeder on 24 June 1939 at Wichita Falls, Texas. Graveside services for Bobby Guy Roberts, 62, were officiated by a nephew, Stan Bergquist. A veteran of World War II, he received a purple heart while serving in the US Army as a sergeant in a tank battalion and served in the security police. He operated Bob's Garage and Auto Repair Shop of Port Isabel from 1954 until his retirement in 1973. He was a reisdent of Port Isabel for 26 years before moving to Possum Kingdom Lake in 1980. Survived by his wife; two daughters - Judy Dunton and Shirley Meyners; one grandson; two granddaughters; one sister - Patsy Blackwell.
