Bio

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant where she served on many committees and taught Sunday School for many years. Kathleen was a beloved teacher at Mount Pleasant ISD where she was awarded Business Teacher of the year in 1973, and recognized as an “Outstanding Educator in America”, she was also a member of the Texas State Teachers Association, Texas Business Education Association, National Business Education, Delta Kappa Gamma Teachers Society, and served on the High School Advisory Board.
