Bio

Dixie Lois Moore was the seventh of eight children born to Theodore and Nancy Albinnie (Hines) Moore, Dixie moved with her family as a young girl to Illinois where she grew to adulthood and married for the first time to Ralph Andrew Madding seven children were born of this union: Ralph and Dixie divorced and both remarried. Dixie married Earl Harper, and one known child was born to this union. Dixie was employed at different times by Wonder Bread Inc and Brodie's Coat Manufacturing Company. Dixie married a third time to Phillip Smith, a dairy farmer residing in Waterville, Maine. No children of that union. Dixie adjusted to farm life with ease as she was a raised a country girl. She always enjoyed the aspects of keeping a neat house and was an excellent cook and seamstress besides being a devoted wife and mother. Dixie always took great pride in her children and their accomplishments; she is missed everyday by those that loved her dearest. NOTE: You need my permission to copy my photos.
