Bio

Sarah Ann Scott, daughter of John Alexander and Mary Gilliland Scott, was born in Madison, Wisconsin, March 8, 1849. She was married to John W. Hall at Pacific City, Iowa, now known as Pacific Junction, on March 14, 1869. Mrs. Hall united with the Methodist Protestant church in 1898. She was a member of the W.R.C., Rebekah lodge and was very active in their work until failing health became her lot. After a lingering illness death came to her on February 2, at the ripe age of 83 years, 11 months and 15 days. Funeral services were conducted from the Webster Funeral Home on Thursday, February 23, by Rev. F.C. McCallon, interment in Maple Hill cemetery.
