Reddout Services for Belle Mea McAnally, 95, were Thursday in Marietta's First Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Higle officiating. Mrs. McAnally was born August 14, 1897, in Franklin County, Alabama, and died September 15, 1992, in Big Spring, Texas. She was the daughter of John and Ann E. McNatt Willis. A resident of Love County most of her life, Mrs. McAnally had just recently moved to Big Spring. She married John J. McAnally July 28, 1918, at Enville. Mrs. McAnally had been a member of Marietta's First Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by three daughters, Imogene Greenwood of Marietta, Lola Keel of Coahoma, Texas, and Rebecca Smith of Big Spring; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. McAnally was preceded in death by her husband on September 10, 1964, and two infant children. Arrangements were under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Assisting as pallbearers were Bud Barnes, Dwight King, Buddy Cochran, Eldridge Colston, Tup Robertson, and Roy Porter.
