Bio
She was born in Rosteni # 93, and baptized in a Church in Kostelec u Holesov, a nearby village. She came to Texas in May 1871 with her parents, Frantiska Tomanek and Augustin Mlcak, and her siblings, Antonia, Frantiska, and Anton. Her parents first bought 50 acres plot of land from the Town of San Felipe de Austin, Texas. She died when she was about 12 years old, and is buried in an unmarked grave in the San Felipe de Austin Cemetery. This was the only cemetery available at that time line before St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery was available. Her sisters were buried in the San Felipe de Austin Cemetery. They are Antonia Mlcak Burger and her husband Henry Burger, and Frantiska Mlcak Esar, and her husband, Mike Esar. Most of her sister's children are buried there.
