Adeline died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Good Samaritan Center in Scribner. She was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Wayne to Leo and Anna (Victor) Siercks. She was the 2nd born of 5 Siercks children. She grew up on a farm north of Arlington and attended St. Paul's East Lutheran School. She married Roger Redfield. The couple lived in Fremont and then in Nevada and Arkansas until returning to Fremont in 1946. He preceded her in death. She later married W. B. "Belt" Kolbo on Feb. 16, 1965, in Omaha. He died March 8, 1993. She moved to Hooper in 2000 and had been residing at Good Samaritan Center in Scribner since 2001. Adeline worked at Hammond & Stephens Co. in Fremont for several years and did housekeeping for the Fred Schweser family. She also did volunteer work at area nursing homes. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Hooper and a former member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont. Survivors include: a son, Gary (and wife, Gloria) Redfield of Brandon, Fla.; two daughters, Sharon Dunaway of Hooper and Barbara Sherrod of Fort Worth, Texas; two stepsons, Richard Kolbo, a missionary, and Douglas Kolbo of Texas; a stepdaughter, Ramona (Mrs. Marvin) Oehlerking of Murdock; a brother, Lloyd Siercks of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Geraldine Hutchinson of Washington State; 18 grandchildren, three step grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters. The Revs. Timothy Gierke and Rodney Meske will officiate Monday's service. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
