He was son of the late Hiram and Ivy Elizabeth (Williams)Chapman and husband of Bertha Chapman. Daughters: Mrs. Cecil Lyon,Tompkinsville, and Mrs R. E. Palmore, Horse Cave, Ky. Sons: Logan Chapman ,Ind.,Ernest Chapman and Garnet Chapman, both of N.C. He died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs Jack Bowman.
