Inducted at Langdon on March 29, 1918; sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa; served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to April 20, 1918; Company A, 137th Infantry, to Jan. 14, 1919; 35th Military Police Company, to discharge. Grade: Private 1st Class, Jan. 13, 1919; overseas from May 3, 1918, to April 20, 1919. Engagements: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Gerardmer (Alsace); Grange-le-Comte (Lorraine). Discharged at Camp Dodge, Iowa, on April 26, 1919, as a Private 1st Class. From North Dakota Military Men, 1917-1918 submitted by High Plains #476073
