Bio

Donna Mae Stephens age 91 of York, Nebraska died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at York. She was born April 9, 1923 at Bellwood, NE to Benjamin Harrison and Nell E. (Donahue) Baer. On July 15, 1944 she was married to Edward Reed Stephens at Lincoln, NE. Donna was a devoted farm wife and mother and a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in York. She also was a member of the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, one grandson, three grand daughters. four great grandsons and three great granddaughters, two great great grandsons. Also surviving is one brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her brother Lloyd, sisters Ina Lou Bohuslavsky and Bertha Mary Rauscher, and an infant brother. Funeral services were held, January 14, 2015 at the Metz Chapel in York, burial was in the Waco Cemetery, Waco, NE.
