Staff Sergeant, 125 Base Unit, Dover Army Airfield, Delaware. Killed in the line of duty, when RA-29 Hudson #41-23455 crashed shortly after takeoff, due to engine failure. Three other airmen were killed: 2nd Lt. Richard A Miller , pilot 2nd Lt. Richard P Peoples , co-pilot Cpl. Manuel Martinez
