Margaret Bobalek Vrana Valek, 97, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Ennis. A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Chapel in Ennis, with Father Antonio Ormaza officiating. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Ennis. Margaret was born in Kaufman, Texas, to the late Frank and Frances (Bedrick) Bobalek. On April 17, 1932, she married Frank J. Vrana. On September 11, 1980, she married Joe W. Valek. Margaret has lived in Ennis most of her life and was a member of Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church; she was employed by Donovan-Galvani for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Frank Vrana on February 4, 1976; second husband, Joe Valek, on Augusts 7, 1993; and brothers, Marion, Emil, and Ervin. Survivors include her son, Frankie E. Vrana and wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren: Annette Metcalf and husband, Barry, Frankie Vrana, Jr., and Cathy Stagner and husband, Ricky; great-grandchildren: Kristina "Tina" Jones, Lynnette Copas, Russell and Rebecca Vrana, and Rachael Stagner; great-great-grandchildren: Amanda and Caitlin Burns, Faith and Weldon Jones, Reece Saucedo, Jude, Elliott and Zooey Vrana and Cruz Ayala.
