Bio
Funeral services for Agnes Praska of Oakes, North Dakota, were held April 4, 1994 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Oakes. Father Adam Hasey officiated. Interment was at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Alexandria, Minnesota. Agnes Rehovsky, daughter of Jacob and Julia (Coufal) Rehovsky, was born January 7, 1904 at Brainerd, where she grew up and attended school. She later moved with her family to the Oakes, North Dakota area. On November 3, 1926, she was united in marriage to Edward Praska in Oakes where they made their home until 1951 when they moved to Alexandria. Edward passed away August 28, 1972. She continued to live in Alexandria until June of 1991 when she moved to the Oakes Good Samaritan Center. Agnes passed away March 31, 1994 at the Oakes Good Samaritan Center having reached the age of 90 years. She is survived by two sons: Alois (Helene) of Oakes, ND and Daniel (Edith) of Grey Eagle; one daughter: Dorothy (Mrs. Bill) Becker of Alexandria; two brothers: Louis (Kathleen) Rehovsky of Oakes, ND and Ted Rehovsky of Seal Beach, CA; 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, one son, her parents, one brother and one great grandchild. Casketbearers were all her grandchildren. Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Oakes, North Dakota was in charge of arrangements. (Echo Press, 6 April 1994)
