Fort Bend Herald, January 1, 2015: Jeanette Marie Bender, 59, passed away December 30, 2014 surrounded by her family at her home in Needville. She was born August 26, 1955 in Weimar to Alvin R. and Matilda E. Linhart. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Edwin "E.J." Bender; 3 daughters, Karen Hargraves and husband, Jim, Kristen Jones and husband, Paul, and Krystle Bender; her brother, Alvin "Boyce" Linhart and wife, Debbie; 3 sisters, Shirley Morgan and husband, Dan, Sharon Kaminski and husband, Stanley, Joyce Janda and husband, Phil; 2 grandchildren, Jim "Tripp" Hargraves III and Amber Marie Jones. She was preceded in death by her mother. A reception will be held at the Family Life Center of St. Michael's Catholic Church Monday, January 5, 2015, at noon with a funeral mass to follow at 2:00 P.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville, with Father Joseph Phan celebrating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4-8 P.M. January 4, 2015 at the church, with a rosary at 7:00 P.M.
