Carl Eugene Darr, 67, lifelong Seminole resident died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Integris Seminole Medical Center. Carl was born January 10, 1947, in Seminole, Oklahoma to Lydia Lueetta (Scott) and Amel Paul Darr. Carl grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole Public Schools and graduated from Seminole High School in 1965. Carl worked for many years at Double Cola Bottling Plant and Wrangler as a truck driver for 14 years. After he left Wrangler he opened his owned business, Carl’s Rental and Sales in Seminole. Carl was a member of Old Glory Assembly of God. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and being with his grandchildren. Carl married Helen Hendricks Darr on April 9, 1965 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Carl is survived by his wife, Helen Darr of the home in Seminole; Son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Patty Darr of Seminole and his daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Casey Hoselton of Seminole, his grandchildren Bradley Davis, Shelby Davis, Hayden Darr, Garrett Darr, Journey Darr and Jessica Darr. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Louise Harrelson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, with Eugene Darr officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, east of Seminole. Honorary bearers will be Michael Morgan, Bill Hoskison, Ronnie Lemmings, and Robert Knapp.
