Betty Jo Jacobs, 88, passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2014. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet. Betty was born Oct. 30, 1926, in Nevada to Alice and Jim Aday. She was a wonderful Christian prayer warrior and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a charter member of Glenview Baptist Church and an active member of the Encouragers Class. Betty was preceded in death by her one true love, her husband of 23 years, Glen Jacobs; her parents; and two sons, Larry and Roger Jacobs. Survivors: Children, Glen "Jay" Jacobs and Linda Kulhanek and husband, Carl; grandchildren, Jesse Jacobs and Jennifer Meuir; sister, Ann Whatley; niece, Cathy Thayer and husband, Don; nephew, Barry McLain and family; and many other loved ones and friends.
