Bio
Josephine Anna Pavlik passed on Christmas Day at Will-O-Bell Nursing Home in Bartlett, Texas. Known to all her family and friends as Joann, she was born in Taylor on September 29, 1935 to Joseph C. Pavlik and Margaret Leshikar Pavlik. She is survived by her brother, Joseph C. Pavlik and his wife Betty Barber Pavlik of Taylor. Also two nieces, Michelle Ranzinger of Colorado and Melanie Pickering of Washington state. She loved and was dearly loved by her many cousins, whose childhoods’ were all influenced by Joann’s love and friendship. Joann loved to play board games and every cousin can attest to Joann’s skills and strategies. Joann’s favorite singer was Elvis, and she probably saw every Elvis movie ever made. In lieu of a service and flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice. “I am gonna miss you, my big sister.” Love you forever.
