Bio
Rachel E. David, 81, passed away on December 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents, Juel and Mary Swan; brothers, Jack and Oliver and her sisters, Inez Wheeler, Dorothy Glietz and Evelyn Sparks. Rachel is survived by her brother, Merle Swan (Darlene); her nephews - Walter Wheeler (Nora) and Robert H. Sparks (Patti) and a niece, Connie Bourque (Mike) and their respective families. Rachel’s many good friends and neighbors in her Heights neighborhood were a big part of her life. She shared her joy of gardening and cooking with them. Anyone who knew Rachel would tell you she was a spiritual woman. She was an active member of Healing Waters Fellowship, where she left many good friends that will miss her. A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, December 29, 2014 11:30 AM at Rosewood Memorial Park, Humble, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Healing Waters Fellowship, 1039 Harvard Street, Houston, Texas, 77008.
