George Richard Robertson, 81, died Sep 6, 2003 in Woodway TX. Services at Bellmead chapel, burial in Rosemound Cemetery. Mr. Robertson was born in Leroy TX on May 12, 1922 to Bob and Pearl Robertson. He went to school in Axtell TX. On Aug 16, 1948 he married Virginia Louise Jenkins. He was a proud World War II veteran. His career included a firefighter at James Connally Air force Base, Fort Hood Military Base, Gray Army Air Field and TSTI Campus. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; his parents, and brother, R.M. Robertson JR. Survivors: son George Gary Robertson (Donna) of Hewitt TX; sister-in-law, Mandy Robertson of Waco TX; nephew, Ronald Robertson of Tucson AZ; niece, Sherry Nunn of Waco TX; two granddaughters, Robin Rene Atchambeau and Misty Hollandsworth of Hewitt TX; grandsons, Jason Delony, Jacob Delony and James Deloney all of Waco TX; five great grandchildren, Brenden Hollandsworth, Amber Hollandsworth, Lexi Archambeau, and Mackenzi Delony, and Mason Delony all of Hewitt.
