J. H. Culverhouse, age 70, of Princeton, Texas, passed away December 23, 2014, in McKinney, Texas. J. H. was born October 18, 1944, in Farmersville, Texas, to Octor and Myrtle (Bell) Culverhouse. He married Molly Akin on April 1, 1977, in Princeton. J. H. grew up in Valdasta, Texas and graduated from Princeton High School in 1963. He owned and operated J’s Paint and Body Shop. J. H. enjoyed coin collecting, spending time with all of his grandkids, and making long conversation out of short stories. He is survived by his wife, Molly Culverhouse of Princeton, Texas; children, Jaime Powell and husband, Garry of Anna, Texas, Aaron Jay Culverhouse, William Akin, Anna Phennel and husband, Larry, and Jason Culverhouse and wife, Andrea, all of Princeton; twenty-one grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Artie Trippodo of Dickinson, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jeffery Culverhouse, and brother, Gerald Culverhouse.
