Fort Bend Herald, December 23, 2014: Mildred Margaret McClung, 82, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 in Richmond. She was born March 22, 1932 in Alief to Emil Frank Maler and Francis Antoni Mlcak Maler. She attended the Church of Living Waters in Rosenberg as well as being a member of Needville Community Church for many years. Survivors include her 6 children, Daniel Mark McClung and wife Darla Jean, Carol Kay Stern and Husband Ben, Timothy James McClung, Ann Elizabeth Tracy and husband Kelly, Thomas David McClung, Donna Elaine Frank and husband Chuck, 12 grandchildren, Misty Lyn and Brad James McClung, Kristen Sue, Amy Sue, Heidi Sue and Joshua James McClung, Kyle Franklin and Brian Evan Tracy, Jana Renee and Kaylee Brooke McClung, Caleb Dawson and Bryce David Frank and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David J. McClung, 3 brothers, Edward, Joseph and Emil Maler and her sister, Olga Maler. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 26, 2014 in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Postell presiding, Eulogy by Pastor Monty Kelley. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday morning starting at 9:00 A.M.at the funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Mildred's name to: Bringing Hope to Malawi, c/o Christian Characters Ministries, c/o Don Postell, P.O. Box 1306 Boerne, Tx 78006.
