Bio

Irene Busch was born on September 1, 1930 in Jackson County, Iowa, to John C.A. and Christina (Kokemuller) Busch. She attended country school. She married Robert K. "Bob" Wyatt on December 31, 1954 in Maquoketa, Iowa. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1997. Irene was always busy. She raised a family of three boys on a livestock farm and worked at WADY Industries in Maquoketa for 40 years. She also baked pies year round and had her own bake sales each year during the holidays. Irene was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Andrew, the Andrew AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary, Andrew Saddle Club and most recently the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club in Maquoketa. She enjoyed staying busy, whether it be helping a friend, baking pies, being outside tending to flowers or mowing the grass. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 2 sons Keith on December 27, 1982 and Chuck on February 28, 1984.
