Brenda Jean Garvin, 62, a physical therapist assistant, went to be with our Lord Friday, December 12, 2014, in Decatur. Brenda was born on October 16, 1952, to Charles and Betty (Tadlock) Bradford in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage to Bill Garvin, Sr., on February 14, 1992, in Denton County. Brenda was a member of New Vision Ministries. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Bradford; her son, Stephen Blaylock; her daughter, Shelly Blaylock, her brother, David Bradford. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 22 years, Bill Garvin, Sr., of Decatur; her daughter, Tonya Grimes of Alvord; her sons, Chad Blaylock of Justin, Brad Blaylock of Justin, Billy Garvin, Jr., of Bridgeport, and Josh Garvin of Alvord; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her mother, Betty Bradford of Decatur; her grandmother, Arlie Weaver of Nocona; two sisters, Cyndie Bradford of Decatur and Dana Fowler of Boyd; her daughter-in-law, Laura Blaylock of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Pallbearers include Brevon Blaylock, Christian Blaylock, Cody Yzaguirre, Lane Blaylock, Tyler Yzaguirre, Dylan Blaylock, Cason Blaylock, and Joshua Garvin.
