The Herald Banner Iona Turner WOLFE CITY — Iona Mae Turner, 97, of Commerce died April 19, 2006, at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce following a one-month illness. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Commerce with Rev. Johnny Henderson officiating. Burial is at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Born March 16, 1909, she was the daughter of J.J. and Ada Dowell Taylor. On Oct. 14, 1933, she was married to John Bunn Turner. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church, Commerce. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home of Wolfe City.
