Bio
Mr. Lyons was a native of Point Pleasant, W. VA., and had lived on the Coast for 35 years. Mr. Lyons married his first wife: Mildred Elizabeth Conway on June 2, 1941 in Pensecola, Scambia Co., Florida. He was a retired electronics technician supervisor at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS. A 10-year veteran of the U.S. NAVY, Mr. Lyons also served in WORLD WAR II. Survivors include his wife: Doris Keeney Lyons of Gulfport, MS., eight sons, Kevin L. Wadsworth of Gulfport, MS., Clarence R. Lyons, Jr., Charles W. Lyons, John L. Lyons & Dewayne C. Lyons , all of Houston, TX., Paul D. Lyons of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kelly E. Lyons of Lake Butler, Fla., and Lowell D. Wadsworth of Camden N.Y.: five daughters, Dorthy Salkowski of Hallsville, Texas, Joyce Herrington of Philadelphia, PA., Lura Hollingsworth of Cumming, Georgia, Deborah Wadsworth of New Orleans, LA., & Christi Neal of McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.: two brothers: Claris Lyons of Henderson, W. VA., and William P. Lyons of Point Pleansant, W. VA.: two sisters: Ruth Haymen of Cleveland, Ohio, and Lennia Johnson of Marmet, W. VA., & ten grandchildren.
