Robert Wayne "Bobby" Budai, 62, passed away December 9, 2014, at his home in Tehuacana. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014, in Hamilton Beeman Cemetery with Rev. Shane Norcross officiating. Bobby was born in Corsicana, Texas, to Dan Budai, Jr. and Norma Holt Budai. He was a graduate of Corsicana High School. Bobby retired from Windstream Telephone Company after over 30 years of service. He was presently employed by Mexia State Supported Living Center. Family was the most important part of Bobby’s life. He loved watching his children participate in their sporting events and being a spectator of the events in which they coached; he was their number one fan. He supported them in anything and everything they were interested in doing. As a young man, Bobby enjoyed playing softball. He also enjoyed playing dominoes with family and friends and fantasy football weekends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Budai, Jr. Bobby is survived by his son, Russell Budai and wife, Stephanie, of Dripping Springs, TX; daughter, Jennifer Evans and husband, Blake, of College Station, TX; grandson, Beckett Budai; mother, Norma Budai, of Tehuacana, TX; sister, Janis Johnson and husband, Richard, of Tehuacana, TX; nieces, Jamie Gragg and husband, Mike, and Stephanie Meyer and husband, Randy; other relatives and many friends.
