Mrs. Evelyn McCullough Mrs. Evelyn Margie McCullough, 67, of Waco died Thursday morning at a local hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Wilkirson-Hatch Chapel, the Rev. Paul Grundy officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Mrs. McCullough was born Jan 10, 1916, in Surginer, Ala. where she attended schools. She moved to Alice in 1951 and to Waco in 1954. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist church in Surginer and an active citizens band radio operator. Survivors include two daughters, Melle May of Midland and Wileen Lewis of Waco; a son, Ocie Perkins of Waco; two sisters, Etura Shoultz of Birmingham, Ala., and Merle cooper of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. -from Waco Tribune-Herald, 5/20/83, 12C
