Nelda Alene Worth went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, after losing her battle with cancer. Service: 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes with visitation at 3:30 p.m. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Nelda was born in Wills Point to parents, Rufus Thompson and Vera Groom Thompson, on March 12, 1935. She met the love of her life, J.L. Worth, and they were married 61 years. Nelda loved spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, shopping, knitting and antiquing. Nelda worked as a CNA for Broadway Plaza for 12 years and loved caring for people. Survivors: Husband, J.L. Worth; daughters, Cheryl Aiello and husband, Richard, Rhonda Worth and Teresa Williams; sons, Lee Worth and wife, Brenda, Dana Worth and wife, Sherry; 11 grandchildren, Rich Aiello, Lee Aiello, Steven Breito, Mike Breito, Tara Miller, Taylor Miller, Tesla Worth, Jordan Worth, Lucas Worth, Angela Worth and Devon Worth; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
