Bio
son of John McCrory and Eliza E Barganier McCrory J. H. McCrory, 86, died at his home Friday June 3rd. He had been in ill health for some time, but his death came as a shock to his family and friends. Early in life he united with the Baptist Church and lived true to its teachings. In 1891 he was married to Miss M. A. Holliday and to this union eleven children were born, eight of whom survive. Besides his widow he is survived by three sons, Messrs. Hugh, Elmore and W. F. McCrory; five daughters, Mrs. J. C. Reynolds, Mrs. Nead Skipper and Mrs. Fred Tutchtone, Mrs. M. H. Gafford and Miss Leila McCrory; and eleven grandchildren, all of Greenville.
