Brewer, Jewell Y., 90, retired from Mid-America Stockyard, died Sunday. Graveside service 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oakdale Cemetery, Depew. Hutchins-Maples Matherly. --------- Jewell Brewer was born May 30, 1924 was born to Willie Alexander and Opal Wheeler Thompson in Alton, Missouri. She departed this life November 30, 2014 at the age of 90 years, and 6 months. * She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, W.H. Chappell three children, Steven Ray Brewer, Robert Chappell, and Kay King; nine brothers and sisters, Ellen Tinsley, Pauline Wright, Billie Mallow, Eva Vandever, Louise Rice, Vera McClelland, Everett Dean Thompson, Ovie Thompson and Ray Thompson. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:30pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Oakdale Cemetery with Reverend Ron Keeling and Donald Huffman officiating.
